Summary: Unfortunately, we only read the official information before booking the room and not the guests' comments. There are no mosquito nets on the huge terrace doors of the rooms. My husband is sensitive to the use of air conditioning (which, by the way, has to be paid for separately, and this increases the price of the rooms by 30 percent), so we had to sleep with the door open due to the overheated building. There was an unbearable amount of mosquitoes in the room at night. It was impossible to sleep, the operation of 2 electric mosquito repellents was not enough. In the end, we had to spray our whole body thickly with the otherwise very unhealthy mosquito repellent spray. The owner's attitude towards the problem is incomprehensible, as guests have been complaining for 10 years. The solution would cost around 30 Euros per room including mosquito netting, frame and labor for the installation. We brought up the problem several times, the owner just shrugged his shoulders. The owner should have informed the guests about this in advance in the description of the accommodation. It is a scandal that he did not do this. We have stayed 28 times in different apartments in Greece and we have never encountered this problem, so it never occurred to us. We do not recommend the accommodation to anyone who wants to sleep with fresh air in balmy Greek nights.
