Summary: Rooms had some signs of wear and tear, but were kept clean and tidy. Daily inquiries if I wanted my rooom clleaned. As the hotel lies along a quite busy street AND traffic in Egypt is VERY noisy, some noise in the rooms facing the street is unavoidable (I was prepared with ear-plugs, and that worked fine with me). I must commend the friendly an service-minded staff. They went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. I will also reccomend the trips arranged by the hotel. I had a very knowledgable and nice guide ("Hime") and competent driver(s). They made me feel as safe one can be in the traffic maelstrom of Cairo(!) I had a great stay and can reccomend the hotel to anyone looking fra a nice and safe base for adventures in the Cairo /Giza area.
